Light through the trees

£45.00

I spend alot of my spare time in the woods of Inverie village, there`s alot of peace to be found amongst the trees. In a previous life I used to be a touring wardrobe manager with the theatre, I travelled all over the country. I was in Birmingham once and a stagehand who I met told me a story of when he was in Australia and took himself on a drive into the outback in the pitch dark of night. He described the silence as ‘deafening’. I’ve never forgotten that story, and that even in the most desolate and solitude of places, the silence will be there to remind you, that you are never alone.

The original piece was drawn on A3 toned paper using my usual choice of medium, micron ink pens and acrylic paint.

The print has been created by scanning the original at a high resolution and printed on the Canon Pixma pro 10s fine art printer which uses pigment dye inks to an extremely high standard. It is printed on 310g archival matt paper with a 3cm boarder around the edges.
